As you all are well aware, the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) is rapidly escalating around the world, and it continues to affect our community, members of the Table in evolving ways.
For the welfare of those belonging to The Table and the larger community of Liberty, Missouri, we would like to update you on the following policies and guidances we are putting in place
at The Table to respond to these events.
1. In these exceptional circumstances and to protect the safety and welfare of our people, all members and attendees are requested to notify a staff member, an Elder, or an Administrative Board member immediately, if:
a. they have tested positive for COVID-19, or
b. they have come into contact with anyone who has been tested positive for the virus.
2. Anyone testing positive for COVID-19 but having no symptoms should self-isolate in accordance with CDC guidelines for a period of 14 days and refrain from attending services at The Table any connect groups or other events of The Table.
3. Similarly, anyone who has been in “close contact” with a person testing positive for COVID-19 should self-isolate for a period of 14 days and refrain from attending services at The Table any connect groups or other events of The Table. Close contact is defined as :
a. living in the same house;
b. face-to-face contact, for example talking to each other for more than a few minutes;
c. being coughed on;
d. being within 2 meters of the person for more than 15 minutes.
4. Anyone contracting COVID-19 and becoming ill/showing symptoms should refrain from attending services at The Table any connect groups or other events of The Table until cleared to do so by the local governing authority and, if applicable, their medical provider.
